Earlier this month we found ourselves in North Wales, on a gorgeous autumnal day for H & D’s wedding day. Think crisp air, various shades of orange and yellow on the trees, and a dry day (hallelujah!).
Mr & Mrs Owen’s chose to tie the knot at The Coach House at Soughton Hall - a super cosy, intimate, barn style venue, full of personality, and the kinda place perfect for an autumn wedding. The decor was simple, but beautiful, and really allowed the character of the venue to shine through. Dusky pinks, maroons, and greens throughout the floral arrangements, accompanied by tiny pumpkins and candles galore.
We performed throughout the daytime, ceremony to wedding breakfast. Holly walked down the aisle to ‘From This Moment’ by Shania Twain, then the newlyweds exited their wedding to ‘Are You Ready For Love’ by Elton John.
The brief for the rest of the day was fun, upbeat vibes including some R&B, 80s, Pop, and Rock.
Lots of gorgeous small touches were chosen for this day, including a signature cocktail sign, wedding photographs of loved ones, sunglasses with the couples initials on, as well as a selfie mirror too. One of my favourite parts of the day was the cake made of local cheeses. I love seeing couples take wedding traditions and making it their own ❤️
Just as we were leaving we spotted the couple and their guests with sparklers, taking photos - it felt like the perfect end to a cosy day!
